Wiet Crobach (1985) has extensive experience in advising both domestic and international companies and private equity firms on their tax matters. He is mainly specialised in:

• Providing tax assistance in respect of mergers and acquisitions (including tax due diligence and the drafting and negotiating of tax provisions for SPAs);
• Advising medium to large-sized enterprises on day to day taxation matters relating to e.g. the participation exemption, fiscal unity, dividend withholding tax and VAT;
• Advising on investments in and from the Netherlands, including the application of tax treaties and international and EU directives;
  reorganisations, mergers and spin-offs;
• The tax aspects of restructurings and insolvencies; and
• Advising on management and employee incentive plans.

In July 2024, Wiet joined Amstone.

Wiet graduated in 2010 from the University of Groningen (fiscal economics). After completing his studies, he worked for 10+ years at Simmons & Simmons and Houthoff, and subsequently for more than 3 years at a boutique tax advisory firm which he co-founded.

Wiet is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisors (NOB) and is listed as a 'Next Generation Partner' in The Legal 500 (2024).
